The 16th Decision Deck Workshop will take place on the 25th September 2019, at IMT Atlantique in Brest, France. It is colocated with the 90th meeting of the EURO Working Group on Multiple Criteria Decision Aiding (EWG-MCDA90) which takes place from 26 to 28 September 2019.
What is Decision Deck?
The Decision Deck project aims at collaboratively developing tools to support the Multiple Criteria Decision Aiding (MCDA) process. The purpose of the project is to provide effective tools for three types of "users":
consultants or analysts who use MCDA tools to support actual decision makers involved in real world decision problems,
teachers who present MCDA methods in their lectures,
researchers who want to test and compare methods or to develop new ones.
Purpose of the workshop
gather the contributors and friends of the Decision Deck project,
present the latest advances and software developments of MCDA methods (within Decision Deck or not),
discuss user feedback on the MCDA software,
present developments on the representation of decision aid processes,
present and discuss applications of MCDA,
discuss on pedagogical issues linked to teaching MCDA,
discuss strategic issues and future development of the project.
Target audience of the workshop
researchers and students interested in MCDA,
software developers interested in decision support tools,
analysts or consultants using MCDA techniques,
industries and public institutions dealing with decision problems.
